WHO WE ARE
The OD Institute is Africa’s premier tertiary institution solely devoted to training Organisation Development (OD) Practitioners and Change Managers. It is a rigorous practical and research oriented institution offering the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Master of Arts (MA) programmes in Organisation Development.
The OD Institute was established after a decade of institutional partnership between the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana and the Organisation Capacity Improvement Consultants (OCIC) International, United Kingdom, in running the programme at the Masters and Post Graduate Diploma levels between 2003 and 2014. The OCIC has transformed to become the OD Institute which is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast and the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC),USA and accredited by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), formerly the National Accreditation Board (NAB), Ghana, to run courses in Organisation Development at the graduate level.
The PGD and MA programmes in OD offered at the OD Institute are well informed by the current trends and changes in the global economy and the need for Africa to harness its Institutional growth and leadership potential in the global economy.
Participatory and Experiential Action Learning coupled with high level of professionalism are integral components of Africa’s premier transformative tertiary education offered through the OD Institute.

RESPECT: The staff of the OD Institute will have due regard for the feelings, wishes or rights of each other, students and other stakeholders, irrespective of profession, qualification, seniority, gender, race or ethnicity.
ACCOUNTABILITY: The staff of the OD Institute shall be responsibility for their own actions, performance, behaviours and decisions, individually and collectively. Members of the organisation shall show commitment to work and be accountable for any assignment or property entrusted to them.
TRANSPARENCY: The staff of the OD Institute will be open to each other, students and all its clients and ensure that all stakeholders are well informed about the work of the Institute. Members of the Institute shall avoid inducement of any kind in the performance of their duty. Openness and honesty shall inform the culture of the organisation.
EXCELLENCE: OD Institute is committed to QUALITY and to meeting the expectations of their internal and external customers. The quality of service, be it in leadership, teaching, consultancy, interpersonal relations, etc. provided by the Institute shall be second to none.
