UPCOMING EVENTS

The practice of Organization Development (OD) is continually evolving to help organizations meet the growing demands of change and innovation. Recent trends, such as the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and hybrid work environments, are reshaping how organizations operate and develop.

According to the World Economic Forum, AI and automation are expected to create 97 million jobs by 2025. This wave of digital transformation will usher in new business models and work structures, fundamentally changing many job roles. Yet, these rapid changes also instill a sense of uncertainty and fear in employees facing an unknown future driven by technology.

At the same time, behavioral science continues to play a critical role in improving organizational effectiveness. The intersection of AI, automation, and behavioral science is pushing the boundaries of traditional OD practices, presenting new challenges and opportunities for practitioners.

Join us at the IODA 2025 Organization Development World Summit (ODWS) in Accra, Ghana, as we delve into these pressing topics. Hosted by the OD Institute and the Organization Development Practitioners Association of Ghana, this landmark event will be held at the Mensvic Grand Hotel in Accra, the vibrant capital city of Ghana. Together, we will explore the future of OD in a world increasingly shaped by technological advancements.

PAST EVENTS

GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY

As part of OD Institute’s 30th anniversary, we continue to give back to the community with impactful capacity-building exercises for organizations in the Haatso vicinity. On September 12, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting a session at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) for their National Service personnel.

The event covered three vital topics:

1. Emotional Intelligence
2. Effective Change Management
3. Effective Teamwork
We hope that the insights gained will serve as valuable tools for these young professionals as they embark on their career journeys.

A big thank you to GAEC for the opportunity and special appreciation to their HR team for organizing and bringing their people together for this important session. We look forward to more collaborations and future opportunities to make a difference.

Celebrating Our 30th Anniversary

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our second “Give Back to Society” event as part of the OD Institute’s 30th Anniversary Celebration!
This time, we had the pleasure of partnering with Freedom Cakes and Catering Services in Tema. Over two impactful days, twelve dedicated staff members participated in a powerful Capacity Building exercise.

At the OD Institute, we are committed to empowering organizations and individuals. Seeing the positive impact of our training sessions reaffirms our mission and the goodness of God upon our Institute.
Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and giving back to our community.
